Government of India and it's sates offers up to Rs, 20,000 per kWp  Subsidy on installation of Grid Tied Inverter system. For installation of 5 Kw Solar System, A Subsidy of Rs. 1,00,000 will be offered.

Solar installation is bit costly as it is required customized installation for each homes. The following components are required for Solar Grid Tied Inverter solar plant installation

the solar power plant cost of installation is fixed at Rs. 15 per watt, For Installation of 5 kW solar system, a total of Rs. 75,000 will be one time installation cost.
